Two Screen at Home Peripheral Vision Exercise

This game requires
  • A television and a computer or tablet screen,
  • A chair to sit in
  • A target to focus on

To play the game:
  • Sit in the chair exactly half way between your television and computer screens,
  • Turn your television on with a cartoon and your computer with a YouTube cartoon video on (cartoons are used because they have bright colors),
  • Hold you arms straight out shoulder high to your sides so that one hand points to one screen and your other hand points to the other screen on the opposite side of your body,
  • Look straight ahead and focus on an object straight ahead,
  • Keeping you chin, head and eyes straight relax and become aware of what is on both screens.

Note: At first players used to reading from left to right are more aware of action to their left. Those used to reading right to left are more aware of action to their right. Players need to be encouraged to look for action where they last saw action first.
